Indian Pottery Lamp

This lamp shows cases & Canteen shaped piece of Indian pottery in pastel colors. The base is red sand stone.  The shade features a symbol of the fictional thunder  bird , a feature  of Indian folklore. Shade  measures  6 x 11 x 8½ and has been hand dyed a light gray and has been hand painted and signed.  Lamp and shade stand 20½ " high.

Stone Carving  Lamp

This lamp exhibits a small Indian stone carving by Navaho  Terry Pettigrew. A Kachina wrapped in a blanket. overlaid with a eagle on the wing. The base and shade are green to highlight the gray of the stone,  The carving is finished front and back. The back is a line drawing of a long neck Kachina.  post is a weathered spoke symbolizing a tree.  A sticker on the back Authenticates the piece as being carved by the artist.  Lamp and shade stand 20" high. Shade measures 4 x 10 x7

Kachina Lamp

Here is a lamp built around an Indian Kachina figure.  Artist  P.  Smith designates it as an "Early Morning"  Kachina.   It is standing on a  red sandstone base in front of a post made out of a weathered spoke from a buggy wheel which symbolizes  a tree with rough bark.  The shade is simulated leather and measures  4 x 10 x 7   Lamp and shade stand 20½ " high.
